DUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's tennis team picked up their sixth win in seven matches with an 8-1 triumph at Salve Regina University Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Leroy Avenue Courts.
Freshman and three-time CCC Player of the Week
Antonia Carrero rebounded from her first setback of 2021 with a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles. She also teamed with
IsaBella Winter for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Winter later scored a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles.
Senior
Kara Stankewitz and sophomore
Jordan Knowles were 8-3 winners at No. 2 doubles. Stankewitz was also a 6-0, 6-0 winner at No. 2 singles. Freshman
Johanna Schroeder picked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles and classmate
Camila Magrin won 6-4, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles.

Kelley Carlin were 8-0 winners at No. 3 doubles for the Bison (7-2, 5-1 CCC).
