Freshman Peter Tabor brought the Johnnies to within one at 3-2 with a short-handed goal at 15:17 of the second period. Junior Troy Dobbs scored 60 seconds into the third to tie the game before sophomore Brady Dahl's third marker of 2019-20 with the extra attacked on a delayed penalty call gave them a 4-3 lead.
