The Nichols College women's soccer team defeated Rivier 2-0 in non-conference action Wednesday night at Joanne Merrill Field in Nashua, New Hampshire.
The Bison (8-1-0) picked up there seventh straight victory over the Raiders (2-3-2) while also earning there sixth shutout of the year. Nichols struck in the 40th minute with a goal from graduate student
Meghan Dunn, her team leading seventh of the season. Dunn's goal was assisted by freshman
Niah Samboy, her second of the year.

Abby Bassett netted her second goal of the season in the 70th minute to give the Bison a two-goal lead. Sophomore
Olivia Marcantonio made four saves in the match while earning her sixth clean sheet of the season.
