Blue Jays knock off Bison in three

Recap
The Nichols College women's volleyball team was blanked by Saint Joseph (CT) College 3-0 in non-conference action Wednesday night at the O'Connell Center.
 
Senior Megan Gardner led the offense with eight kills and also collected three service aces for the Bison (6-4), who lost games one and two by identical 25-22 scores before dropping the third set, 25-20. Sophomore Regan Richard racked up seven kills while classmate Rachael Veilleux handed out 24 assists and five digs.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Tonight's contest marks the second all-time meeting between Nichols College and Saint Joseph (CT) College. The Blue Jays now lead the series, 2-0.
            -Sophomore Jayleen Fegan registered a team-high 12 digs for Nichols.
            -Freshman Madison Perrotti filled the stat sheet with nine digs, four kills, and two service aces.
