The Nichols College women's lacrosse team fell to Salve Regina University 22-7 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Gaudet Field.
 
The Bison (2-9, 0-5 CCC) saw senior 
Kirsten Sullivan, junior 
Miranda Smith, and sophomore 
Lizz McKinnon each score twice. Freshman 
Elizabeth Luster led NC in both draw controls (three) and ground balls (three).
 
Maddie Villareal and Kaity Doherty combined for 13 goals and 17 points for the Seahawks (5-3, 2-2 CCC).
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Salve Regina outshot the Bison 44-20 and won 25 of 31 draw controls.
            -Junior goalie 
Emily Eagan recorded 14 saves for NC and is averaging 16 saves over her last eight contests.
            -Sullivan's 34 goals is the fifth-highest mark in the CCC.
