The Nichols College men's tennis team defeated Wentworth 9-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) match Wednesday afternoon on the Robinson Tennis Courts in Dudley, Massachusetts.
Nichols (13-6, 7-0 CCC) cruised through doubles play with 8-0 wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, as well as an 8-1 victory at the No. 2 doubles played by seniors
Blake Norton and
Sebastian Penaloza. The Bison then went on to take all six singles matches, highlighted by 6-0, 6-0 wins from Norton,
Brandon Howard, and
Jack Donaldson.

Three things you need to know…
-The Bison didn't drop a point in the first set of every singles match for the second time this season.
-Nichols has now gone undefeated in CCC play in back-to-back seasons, and for the sixth time since the 2010-11 season.
-The Bison finished the season with a perfect 63-0 record combined in singles and doubles play against CCC opponents. They will be the No. 1 seed in the upcoming CCC tournament en-route to their 8th straight CCC championship.
