The Nichols College women's tennis team lost to Bentley 5-4 in a non-conference match Friday afternoon on the Robinson Tennis Courts in Dudley, Massachusetts.

Nichols junior Rachel McDonald was the only Bison on the day to record multiple wins. Her and duos partner senior Kristina Domantas took a 6-0 sweep at the No. 3 doubles before McDonald took care of business at the No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-0. Junior Danielle Mandel was the only other Bison to win a singles match with a 7-5, 6-4 win at the No. 4 spot.
 
Three things you need to know…
-This was the first loss for the Bison after starting the season 13-0, which included a CCC championship.
-Nichols No. 1 doubles also picked up a win with a score of 6-2.
-This was the first ever meeting between the two teams.
