Recap

Game One: Nichols 8, Worcester State 0
Mayhew laced a two-run single in the fifth to spark a three-run frame for the Bison, who banged out nine hits in the win. Nichols drew three bases-loaded walks in the first inning to take an early lead, and RBI singles form senior Jessica Kuelling and freshman Samantha Kostek helped pad the lead. Junior Alexis Ferris surrendered just two hits over five and struck out seven to earn her third win of 2019.

Freshman Candice Nelson was tagged for six hits and four runs in seven innings as she moved to 2-1 on the season. She walked two and struck out six. Junior Samantha Stake recorded two RBI for the Lancers (0-12).
