The Nichols College men's tennis team opened up their California trip with a 7-2 loss against Salisbury Sunday afternoon in Northridge, California.

Nichols (3-4) picked up their two wins at the No. 2 singles and No. 4 singles. Junior
Brandon Howard went to a third set against Ian siew, winning 7-5, 4-6, 10-3. Senior
Sebastian Penaloza collected the Bison's second win of the match with a score of 6-4, 6-1 against Stefan Hein.

Salisbury (6-3) opened up the scoring by sweeping Nichols in doubles play before defeating the Bison in four of the six singles matches to collect their sixth win of the season.

-This was the first ever meeting between the two programs.
