Shannon Morin surrendered a home run on the first pitch of the game but settled down after, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out three. Freshman
Samantha Kostek threw out a runner at home from centerfield in the third inning to keep it a one-run game.

Sophomore
Colleen Callahan drove in the only run of the contest with an RBI groundout in the first inning. Ferris did the rest, surrendering just two hits to go with two strikeouts. She was backed by tremendous defense, including a diving catch from Andrews in the fifth that took her into the fence.
