Ray Wang notched a game-high 15 digs in Nichols College's 3-1 win at Regis (MA) College Friday night in non-conference men's volleyball action at Higgins Court in Weston, Mass.

Collin Hunter picked up 11 kills and freshman
Lance Law chipped in with 10 as the Bison (1-3) recorded the first win in program history. They won games one and two by scores of 25-16 and 25-17, respectively, before dropping the third set, 25-20. The Bison hit .385 in the fourth and final set to close out the match, 25-22.

Wang hit .333 in the opening set and secured four kills while freshman
Luis Castro tallied seven digs in the opening set. Wang and Law combined for seven kills in the second as NC hit .333 to grab a 2-0 lead. Hunter's five kills and seven assists from Castro in the fourth secured the win for the Bison.

Three things you need to know...
            -The Bison's .285 hitting pct. for the match was a season-high.
            -Castro finished the contest with 37 assists and is averaging 28 assists/match thus far in 2019.
            -Matt Ferrara registered a team-leading 15 assists for the Pride, who hit .234 for the match.
