The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Brandeis 71-45 at the Brandeis Tip-Off Tournament Friday evening at the Red Auerbach Arena in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Shannon St. Lawrence pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and put up eight points (4-for-9) while also picking up two steals to fill the stat sheet in the Bison's 71-45 loss. Freshman
Alexis Finnerty put up a team-high 10 points (4-for-11) along with five rebounds as she notches her second straight game with double-digit scoring. Freshman
Gina Parmenter scored eight points as well for the Bison while also pulling down three rebounds.
The Judge's were led by Jillian Petrie, who scored a game-high 12 points (5-for-8) and picked up four boards. Brandeis had two other student-athletes score in double figures with Emma Reavis scoring 11 and Samira Abdelrehim notching 10 points for the Judges.
Three things you need to know…
-The Bison and Judges were nearly even on the glass, with Brandeis picking up 50 boards to the 49 from Nichols.
-Nichols held the edge with 12 points in second-chance points, off 16 turnovers.
-Today's contest marked the 15th all-time meeting between the two programs.
