The Nichols College women's soccer team lost to Roger Williams 2-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Friday afternoon at Bayside Field in Bristol, Rhode Island.

The Bison (10-6-0, 1-5-0 CCC) only managed one shot in the first half as the Hawks (11-6-1, 4-1-1 CCC) took nine shots and netted the game winning goal in the 42nd minute. Leah Yucius scored her foruth goal of the season with an assist from Sara Nerwinski to give the Hawks the 1-0 lead going into the break.

The Bison managed six shots in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net. Roger Williams scored seven minutes into the second half thanks to Bianca Robbins, her fifth of the year, to give the Hawks a comfy 2-0 lead for the rest of the game.

-Freshman Taylor Patitucci led the way for Nichols with four shots.
-The Hawks outshot the Bison 18-7 in the match.
-Today's match marked the 30th all-time meeting between the two programs.
