Junior Megan Gardner notched 15 kills in Nichols College's 3-1 loss to Eastern Nazarene Friday night at the Eastern Nazarene Invitational in non-conference volleyball action at the Lahue Physical Education Center.
 
Freshman Jayleen Fegan added seven kills as the Bison slipped to 2-3 on the season. The Lions secured wins in games one & two by identical 25-15 scores before NC rallied to win the third game, 26-24. ENC closed out the match with a 25-23 win in game four.
 
Three things you need to know…
-Freshman Rachael Veilleux dished out a match-high 27 assists for the Bison.
-Junior ENC Courtney McCarthy led all student-athletes with 17 kills.
-Fegan racked up a career-high 21 digs.
