The Nichols college women's soccer team (1-1-1) lost to Smith College 3-0 Thursday Night in non-conference action in Northampton, Mass.

Senior Brooke Downey made 12 saves for NC - six in each half. The Bison were outshot 22-5.

Sophomores Peyton McBride, Kelley McKenna, and Ewka Varney all scored first-half goals for the Pioneers as they improved to 2-1-0 on the year.
