The Nichols College women's tennis program continued to roll with an 8-1 win over Colby-Sawyer (1-1) in the home opener Sunday afternoon at the Robinson Tennis Courts.
Junior Danielle Mandel swept her opposition 6-0, 6-0 at the No. 6 singles spot and was one of five student-athletes to earn wins in singles competition, along with juniors Amarie Settiwongse and Lindsey Kaplan, sophomore Juliana Herrera, and senior Alanna Judd. Juniors Rachel McDonald and Isabelle Leonardi both contributed as well by picking up win at the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles respectfully.

-With today's win, the Bison have now won 22-straight home matches. Their last loss came at the hands of Clark (MA) in 2016.
-The Bison have opened the season 2-0 in consecutive seasons.
-Nichols has now won six of the last nine matches with the Chargers.
