Taylor McIntosh had an RBI single for the Nichols College softball team, which dropped a pair of Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) contests to Eastern Nazarene College Sunday afternoon at the Nichols Softball Field.
Game One: Eastern Nazarene 1, Nichols 0
Nichols sophomore
Alexis Ferris struck out seven in seven innings of work but was outdueled by ENC sophomore Elisabeth Schaffer, who fanned 15 Bison and surrendered just three hits en route to her seventh win of the season.
The game remained scoreless into the fifth when freshman Dominique Santos led off the inning with a single and scored two batters later on a single by junior Lauren Weidler.

Cara Mayhew had a pair of singles for the Bison.
Game Two: Eastern Nazarene 4, Nichols 1
Clements went 3-for-4 with three RBI as the Lions completed the sweep of the Bison. She plated a run in the first on an RBI single, then a pair in the fifth with a double to left-center. Meanwhile, in the circle, Weidler allowed eight hits and one run with five strikeouts to win her third game of 2018.
McIntosh went 2-for-3 and drove in Mayhew with a single up the middle in the second to tie the game at one. Freshman
Shannon Morin started for Nichols and surrendered eight hits and four runs (three earned) with five walks and five strikeouts.

Today's games marked the 50th and 51st all-time meetings between Nichols College and Eastern Nazarene College. Despite the losses, the Bison lead the series 37-13-1.
