HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team dropped to 1-1 overall following an 18-3 setback to Swarthmore College on Tuesday afternoon.
 
The Bison return to action on March 22 when they travel to Lasell College for a 3:30 p.m. game.
 
Senior Lindsay O'Connell led the Bison with a pair of goals, while junior Kirsten Sullivan added the other score for Nichols. Sophomore Danielle Kozloski also picked up an assist for the Bison.
 
Defensively, O'Connell and Sullivan each had one draw control, while Kozloski had two draw controls in the game. Junior Brooke Downey also caused a pair of turnovers to lead the Nichols defense.
 
Sophomores Emily Eagan and Molly Steen each played a half in goal, with Eagan taking the loss while making 14 saves but allowing 14 goals. Steen played the second half, making four saves while giving up four goals.
