BISON VS. GULLS HISTORY
Nichols and Endicott have met 31 times in program history and the Gulls lead the all-time series 18-13. This will be the 10th meeting between the two programs since the start of the 2015 season, with the teams having met three times in the CCC Tournament and once in the NCAA Tournament. Nichols is 5-4 in the previous nine meetings, including a pair of wins this season.
The two teams met way back in November to open the CCC season and the Bison took a 64-35 lead into halftime before cruising to a 105-82 win over the Gulls.
DeAnte Bruton led four players in double-figures with 30 points, with
Daequon Antoine (22p, 7r),
Marcos Echevarria (21p, 6r, 7a), and sophomore
Jerome Cunningham (14p, 5r) also scoring in double-digits.
In the teams' second meeting in January, Endicott held a six-point lead late in the first half, but the Bison used a 13-4 run to close the half to take a 34-31 lead into the break. The Bison would go on to outscore the Gulls 49-32 in the second stanza behind a game-high 35 points from Echevarria to defeat Endicott 83-63.
Daequon Antoine added 18 points, while freshman
Matt Morrow recorded a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Endicott's Keith Brown currently ranks as the leading scorer in the conference at 23.8 points per game, but the Bison have held him to just 14.5 points per game on 27.6% (8-of-29) shooting in the two matchups.
