The Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Puget Sound 61-39 in the first of two non-conference games in Tacoma, Washington.
The Loggers (5-2) were helped by a 21-point effort from senior Elizabeth Prewitt and 11 points, 13 boards from senior Jamie Lange. Puget Sound held a 26-13 lead after the first half while shooting 35% from the field.
The Bison (3-7) were led by sophomore
Isabella Nerney who netted 12 points, three rebounds, and two assists. Senior
Mekaela Fithian-Giantonio had double digit points as well with 10. The Bison shot 30% from behind the arc for the game and 23% from the field.

-Nerney has scored in double-digits five times this season.
-The Bison held the Loggers to 16% shooting from three-point land.
-Today's game was the first ever meeting between the two programs.
