Sophomore
Isabella Nerney scored a season high 19-points as the Nichols College women's basketball team lost to Endicott College 60-49 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) play Saturday afternoon at the Nichols Athletics Center.
The Bison (3-4, 1-1 CCC) were led by Nerney, who had 13 points at the half as the Bison kept it a 10-point game (35-25) against the Gulls (4-2, 2-0 CCC) at halftime. Senior
Mekaela Fithian-Giantonio dropped in six points herself in the first half, ending the game with nine points.
Nichols was down by as many as 24 with 8:44 left in the fourth quarter. However, the Bison outscored the Gulls 17-8 in the quarter to close the gap. Juniors
Jessica Larsh and
Ciarri Formby-Lavertu led the Bison with six boards apiece in the game.
