The Nichols College women's ice hockey program lost to Morrisville State 3-0 Saturday afternoon in Colonial Hockey Conference (CHC) action at Levy Rink in Harrisville, Rhode Island.

The Mustangs (3-1-0, 1-1-0 CHC) potted two goals towards the end of the first period to take the 2-0 lead going into the first intermission. Junior Maddison Devlin opened the scoring at 15:20, then two minutes later at 17:23 senior Maria deWilde made it a two-goal game with her first of the season.

It remained at 2-0 game until the Bison (3-1-0, 1-1-0 CHC) gave up a third goal to Chyne Kennedy netted her first of the season to propel the Mustangs to their first conference win of the season.
 
Three things you need to know…
-Senior goalie Cassandra Goyette sent aside 30 shots in today's game.
-Kennedy led all shooters with 10 shots in the game.
-The Bison were outshot 33-13 in today's game.
