The Nichols College women's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches on Saturday afternoon, losing to Western Connecticut State and Mount St. Mary's (NY) by identical 3-0 scores in non-conference action in Danbury, Conn.

Jayleen Fegan went for five kills and 12 digs against the Colonials, who won game one 25-8, game two 25-14, and game three 25-16. Senior
Sabrina Boermeester finished with four kills while junior
Megan Gardner dished out nine assists.

Against the Knights, Fegan again led the way with four kills and 11 digs while Boermeester threw down four kills. Gardner notched 12 assists and freshman
Shannon Anthony posted three service aces.

               -Western Connecticut State was led by Kamani King with nine kills. Morgan Burke tallied 11 to pace the Knights.
               -Today's match was the second all-time meeting with WCSU and the first-ever with Mount St. Mary's.
