The Nichols College women's tennis program defeated Salve Regina 9-0 Thursday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Leroy Avenue Courts in Newport, Rhode Island.

Lindsey Kaplan,
Amarie Settiwongse,
Isabelle Leonardi, and
Megan Nathanson all picked up wins in both doubles and singles action to help the Bison (10-0, 6-0 CCC) sweep the Seahawks (4-3, 3-3 CCC). Kaplan was able to pick up an 8-4 win at the number three doubles with partner
Danielle Mandel who was playing in her first doubles match since September 9.
 Sophomore
Juliana Herrera put together a perfect performance at the number six singles, sweeping her opposition 6-0, 6-0.

Three things you need to know…
-The Bison swept their opposition in three matches, the number three, four, and six singles.
-With today's win, the regular season title will be determined on Saturday when the Bison visit the also undefeated Endicott.
-Today's match marked the 25th all-time meeting between the two programs. The Bison have now won 11 straight but still the series, 14-11.
