The Nichols College men's tennis program lost to Bentley University 8-1 Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at the Robinson Tennis Courts in Dudley, Massachusetts.
Nichols seniors
Blake Norton and
Sebastian Penaloza lost to Bentley student-athletes Connor Aulson and Dylan Granat at No. 1 doubles, in a match that went to a tie-break where Nichols (1-1) lost 8-7(7-3). The Falcons (1-0) swept doubles play to enter singles action up 3-0.
Nichols collected its first win of the day at the No. 1 singles when junior
Guilherme Barbosa defeated Granat 6-3, 6-3. Nichols junior
Brandon Howard put up a fight at the No. 3 singles forcing a tie break with Bentley senior Michael Fuca where he would eventually lose 6-2, 6-7(7-10).

-The Bison had three other student-athletes participate in play: juniors

Jack Donaldson, and senior
Igor Markowski.
-Nichols had four matches that had to utilize a tie-breaker
-Today's match marked the seventh all-time meeting between the two programs.The Bison fall to 3-4 all-time.
