Junior Erin Kelley struck for a pair of goals in Nichols College's 3-1 win at Becker College Thursday afternoon in non-conference action at Alumni Field.
 
Sophomore Lizz McKinnon added her team-leading eighth marker of the season as the Bison (5-5) snapped a four-game losing skid and evened their record at 5-5 on the season. Junior Brooke Misbach recorded seven saves to earn her fifth win of the season.
 
The Hawks opened the scoring just 3:32 into the contest when sophomore Alexis Keohane netted her third goal of the season. The Bison pulled even at one on Kelley's third goal of 2018 at 13:31, then moved in front when freshman Mackenzie Snow set up McKinnon with a feed from the right side at 52:236. Kelley's second tally of the afternoon with under five minutes remaining doubled the NC lead.
 
Three things you need to know...
            -Today's win ran the Bison's win streak against Becker to nine and moves them to 10-4 all-time against their Worcester-area rivals.
            -Nichols outshot the Hawks 20-11 and held a 10-5 edge in penalty corners.
            -Junior Amy Cooper collected a defensive save for the Hawks.
