The Nichols College women's soccer program defeated Plymouth St. 1-0 in non-conference action Saturday afternoon at Arold Field in Plymouth, New Hampshire.
The Bison (4-11-1) played very defensively in the first half. In the 32nd minute, graduate student
Meghan Dunn was awarded a free kick and was able to beat the Panthers freshman goalie Elena Register to put the Bison on top.
Despite outshooting the Bison 13-4 in the first half, the Panthers (6-6-2) were unable to put a goal on the board. Senior goalie
Brooke Downey picked up the clean sheet, recording nine saves in the effort.
