Snow scores twice in defeat at WNE

Sophomore Mackenzie Snow scored a pair of goals in Nichols College's 3-2 loss at Western New England University Tuesday night in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Golden Bear Stadium.
 
Junior Erin Kelley assisted on both Bison (4-5, 2-4 CCC) goals while classmate Brooke Misbach recorded seven saves in defeat. Nichols was outshot 13-9.
 
Seventeen seconds after sophomore Haley Daigneault opened the scoring at 9:34, Snow potted her second of the year to even the score. Goals by freshman Tripanne Manuel and junior Jessica Clifford staked the Golden Bears (3-8, 3-3 CCC) to a 3-1 lead before Snow cut the NC deficit to one at 57:51.
 
Three things you need to know...
                - Despite the loss, the Bison still lead the all-time series, 24-20-3.
                -Snow leads all NC rookies and is second on the team with three goals.
                -Senior Dana Dufour recorded three saves for the Golden Bears.
