DUDLEY Mass. – Senior
Danielle Barry (Springfield, Mass.) scored a pair of goals for the Nichols College women's soccer team, which blanked Pine Manor College 10-0 Wednesday afternoon in non-conference women's soccer action at the Nichols Soccer Field.
Freshman
Carley Pedruczny (Hatfield, Mass.) also scored twice for the Bison, who saw 10 student-athletes record at last one point. Senior
Taylor Souza (Ned Bedford, Mass.) racked up a goal and an assist while classmate
Lauren MacGray (Norton, Mass.), along with freshmen
Hallie Linacre (Richmond, R.I.) and
Jenna Turrini (Southwick, Mass.), all scored their first collegiate goals.
Barry scored twice in the opening 12:11 of the match while Cibotti netted her fourth of the year to stake the Bison to an early 3-0 lead. Souza's fifth of the season at 20:58 pushed the lead to 4-0 before goals from Pedruczny at 24:47 and 26:12, respectively, made it 6-0 at halftime.
Junior
Brooke Downey (Middleboro, Mass.) earned her third win of the season for Nichols, which pumped in 10 goals for the first since an 18-2 win over on September 4, 2013. Freshman Chiara Celis (Yucca Valley, Calif.) made 11 saves for the Gators.

Today's match marked the seventh all-time meeting between Nichols College and Pine Manor College. The Bison now lead the series, 7-0-0.
