BIDDEFORD, Maine – The University of New England defeated Nichols College 3-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) women's volleyball action at Harry Alfond Forum.
 
Junior Zoe Chevrette (Wilbraham, Mass.) collected five digs, four assists, and three serviced aces for the Bison while sophomore J'ena Baker (Rocklegde, Fla.) led the squad with six kills. Classmate Jayla Simmons (Rockledge, Fla.) notched a team-high 12 digs and junior Moriah Burns (Holland, Mass.) put up four digs and two kills.
 
The Nor'easters won games one and two by identical 25-10 scores before closing out the match with a 25-15 win in game three.

Today's match marked the second all-time meeting between Nichols College and UNE. The Nor'easters lead the series, 2-0.
