Ryan Banker (Ashaway, R.I.) notched a goal and an assist for the Nichols College men's soccer team, which was clipped by Wentworth 4-3 Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Nichols Soccer Field.

The Leopards held a 23-16 edge in shots – including 14-9 in the second half – as they scored twice in the final 9:06 to turn a 3-2 deficit into a one-goal win. Junior Noah Martins (Dartmouth, Mass.) tied the match with his first of the season at 81:54 before senior Ryan Reid (Columbia, S.C.) netted what proved to be the game-winner with 4:10 to go.

Patrick Porpora (Westminster, Mass.) made 10 saves for NC while junior Matthew Sekerak (Winthrop, Maine) turned aside nine shots to earn his second win of 2017.
