Box Score BRISTOL, R.I. – The Nichols College field hockey team was defeated by Roger Williams University 5-0 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday evening at Bayside Field.
 
The Hawks – who outshot the Bison 22-7 on the evening – scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 halftime lead, then potted three more over the final 35 minutes.
 
Sophomore Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) recorded 14 saves for the Bison. Freshman Carlee Tolley (Chatham, Mass.) led the Bison with three shots.
 
All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the ninth all-time meeting between Nichols College and Roger Williams University. The Hawks have won the last five meetings and lead the series, 6-3.
