DUDLEY, Mass. – Senior
Paul Tessier (Mirror Lake, N.H.) scored four goals to lift the Nichols College men's lacrosse program to a 15-8 win over Gordon College on Senior Day Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Vendetti Field.

Reece O'Connor (North Grafton, Mass.) notched six points on three goals and three assists for the Bison, whose 10 wins are the second-highest win total in program history, trailing only the 12 wins secured by the 1970 team. Senior
Tyler Sikich (Hermosa Beach, Calif.) netted three goals and also collected a game-high eight ground balls as Nichols snapped a 13-game losing streak against the Fighting Scots and will now qualify for the conference tournament for the first time since 2012 if Western New England defeats Salve Regina on Tuesday.
Junior Nick Palandjian (Belmont, Mass.) paced the Fighting Scots with four goals while classmate Nico Manganiello (Peabody, Mass.) potted two as GC was held to three goals over the final 32:58 of the contest.
The game was tied at five after one quarter of play before the Bison took complete control of the contest, outscoring the Fighting Scots 10-3 over the final 45 minutes. A pair of man-up goals from Sikich and senior
Matt Feigenblat (Shelton, Conn.) to open the second – both of which were set up by O'Connor – gave the Bison a 7-5 lead. Feigenblat's second of the stanza and 12th of the season at 5:22, along with O'Connor's 26th tally with three seconds remaining – pushed the NC lead to 11-6 at halftime.

Casey Campanale (Shrewsbury, Mass.) each found the back of the net for head coach
Eric Gobiel's squad, making it a 14-6 lead going to the final period. Tessier closed the scoring for the home side with his 18th of the campaign with 5:48 to go.

James Keane (Franklin, Mass.) recorded 11 saves to move to 7-2 on the season while senior
Kevin D'Angelo (Pelham, N.H.) won 20-of-25 at the X (80 percent).
Gordon freshman Jay Gallipo (Dover, N.H.) turned aside 10 shots for his team, which was outshot 37-33.
