ÂDUDLEY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's lacrosse team fell 16-7 to Smith in non-conference action Tuesday afternoon at Vendetti Field.

Sophomore
Kirsten Sullivan (Arlington, Mass.) scored a team-high three goals and senior
Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) assisted on three as the Bison have now dropped four-consecutive games since opening the season with a win over Becker.

The Pioneers were led by sophomore Chloe Harris (Alexandria, Va.) who scored six goals and assisted on another while freshman Sydney Garner (Beaverton, Ore.) and junior Julia Hamilton (Williamstown, Mass.) each had five points on the game.

Junior
Allison Bench (Windham, N.H.) opened the scoring at 27:05 of the first half with her fourth goal of the season but the Pioneers ultimately carried a slim 6-3 lead into the half.

Smith scored the first five goals of the second half to take an 11-3 lead – which they never looked back.

Freshman
Emily Eagan (Hingham, Mass.) made 10 saves in the loss while junior Sarah Price (Hudson, Ohio) stopped nine shots in the win. Freshman
Molly Steen (Stevensville, Md.) played the final 13:11 for the Bison and made one save.
