HARRISVILLE, R.I. – The Nichols College women's ice hockey team fell to Castleton 4-0 in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action Saturday afternoon at Levy Rink.

Sophomore
Cassandra Goyette (Norton, Mass.) stopped 57 shots in the season finale, however, the Bison were unable to get on the scoreboard.

Senior Ally Brandland (Bellingham, Wash.) scored the first goal and assisted on another while sophomore Jade Remillard (Fairfield, Vt.) and senior Sabrina Hosner (Pentincton, British Colombia) each had a pair of assists to lead the Spartans.

The Bison were outshot in the game 61-20 – including 24-7 over the final 20 minutes of the game. Sophomore
Mikayla Castro (Killingworth, Conn.) paced the Bison with three shots and sophomore Aimee Briand (Barrington, N.H.) had a game-high 11 shots for Castleton.

Freshman Alexis Kalm (Aberdeen, N.C.) made 20 saves in the shutout win for the Spartans.
