BEVERLY, Mass. – The Nichols College women's soccer team suffered a 6-0 setback at Endicott College on a rainy Monday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action in Beverly, Mass.
Junior
Brooke Downey (Middleboro, Mass.) stopped seven shots on the day as the Gulls held a 24-1 advantage in shots in the game. Sophomore
Nicole Gidley (Dartmouth, Mass.) registered the one shot on the day for the visitors.
Endicott received a goal apiece from junior Mary Verneris (Hamden, Conn.) and senior Shannon Hickey (East Haddam, Conn.), while freshman Gabriella Prisco (West Haven, Conn.) and senior Rachel Hanna (Chelmsford, Mass.) scored two goals each. Senior Shelby Elwell (Litchfield, Conn.) started the game and earned the win, while senior Caroline Armbruster (Stowe, Vt.) played the final 45 minutes.

Monday's matchup marked the 27th meeting between the two programs and Endicott holds a 22-4-1 mark against Nichols since the 1993 season.
