BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Nichols College field hockey team closed its season with a 4-0 loss at the University of New England Saturday afternoon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at the Big Blue Turf.
 
The Bison were outshot 34-5. Nichols sophomore goalie Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) made 18 saves. Freshman Carlee Tolley (Chatham, Mass.) took three shots.

Today's game marked the 28th all-time meeting between Nichols College and UNE. The Nor'easters have won the last 11 meetings and lead the series, 19-9.
