BRISTOL, R.I. – The Nichols College men's soccer team suffered a 3-0 setback on the road at Roger Williams University in a Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) matchup on Saturday afternoon in Bristol, R.I.
The Hawks held a 15-12 advantage in shots in the game, while the Bison attempted eight corner kicks to just seven for the home team.
Roger Williams received a pair of first half goals from senior Charlie Mader (Scarborough, Maine) to take a 2-0 advantage into the half. Classmate Sean Janson (Avon, Conn.) added a goal in the second half to give the game its final score.

Ryan Banker (Ashaway, R.I.) led the Bison offense with two shots apiece.

Juan Carlos De La Cruz (Stamford, Conn.) made seven saves in the setback, while sophomore Edmund Geschickter (Brookline, Mass.) posted eight saves in the win for Roger Williams.
