WENHAM, Mass. – The Nichols College women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Gordon in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at The Quad.
 
The Fighting Scots scored their first goal – and eventual game-winner – at 37:33 and added another at 50:42 to claim their first conference win of the year.
 
Sophomore Jill Kefalas (Wenham, Mass.) scored the eventual game-winner assisted by senior Chandler Stier (Redlands, Calif.) and junior Kay Silveira (Bristol, R.I.) added another to give the Fighting Scots the win.
 
The Bison were outshot on the afternoon 16-3 – including 9-1 in the second half.
 
Senior 
Brooke Maher (North Attleboro, Mass.), junior 
Taylor Souza (New Bedford, Mass.), and freshman 
Kaylin Gonclaves (Norwood, Mass.) each had a shot for the Bison while Kefalas paced the Fighting Scots with five shots.
 
Sophomore 
Brooke Downey (Middleboro, Mass.) took the loss after making nine stops in the game while freshman Kali Denty (Marshfield, Mass.) had one save in the win.
 
All-Time Series
The Fighting Scots have a 11-0-1 record over the last 12 meetings and lead the all-time series at 22-6-2.
