The Nichols College women's lacrosse team fell to Gordon College 17-4 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Saturday afternoon at the Brigham Athletic Complex. The Fighting Scots saw three players finish with at least four goals on their way to their highest scoring performance of the season.

The Fighting Scots came away with 15 of their 16 clear attempts while the Bison only cleared seven times for the game. Gordon also doubled up Nichols on ground balls, 16-8.

- The Fighting Scots saw a season-high 17 goals from just five different student-athletes. Junior Blake Orndorff (Churchville, Md.) had two goals while classmate MC Aston (Greenwich, N.Y.) chipped in with one to round out the scoring combined with McCarrick, Castelline, and Grinnell.

Katherine Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine) stopped four shots through 55:43 of playing time in the loss while sophomore
Jacqueline Hogue (North Grafton, Mass.) finished the game but did not register a save. Junior Jackie Kiernan (Lexington, Mass.) took the win after making six saves through 55:43 before being replaced by sophomore Zita Nagel (Wayland, Mass.).
