The Nichols College women's lacrosse team fell to Western New England 19-5 in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Monday afternoon at Golden Bear Stadium. The Golden Bears sprung out to a 10 goal lead at the half (13-3) before finishing the Bison off in the second half.

Katherine Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine) stopped eight shots through 47:40 of playing time in the loss while sophomore
Jacqueline Hogue (North Grafton, Mass.) finished the game and made two saves. Sophomore Shannon McFadden (West Islip, N.Y.) took the win after making six saves through the first 50:05 before leaving way for classmate Madison Cutler (Pittston, Maine) who finished with a pair of saves.
