Tonight's matchup marked the 37th all-time meeting between Wentworth and Nichols. The loss snaps the Bison's six-game win streak against the Leopards and evens the series at 18-18-1. Nichols is 6-1-1 in its last seven against WIT.

The Leopards ran their win streak to five with a 4-2 win over the Bison in Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Northeast action. Sullivan, Cox, sophomore Chris Sattler (East Longmeadow, Mass.), and freshman Adam Lane (Sarnia, Ontario) each scored for Wentworth, which won despite being outshot 38-27.
