J.B. Baker (Columbia, Md.) scored a pair of goals for the Nichols College men's hockey team, which suffered a 7-4 loss at Elmira College Sunday afternoon at the Murray Athletic Center.

Ian Spencer (Hawthorne, N.J.) also scored for the Bison, who outshot the Soaring Eagles 37-32 but went scoreless in five opportunities with the man advantage. Senior
Patrick Salkind (Springfield, Va.) got the start in goal and surrendered five goals on 19 shots in defeat.
Freshman Matthew Cuce (Fort Myers, Fla.) collected five points for Elmira (2-3-5) while classmate Nick Ford (New Lenox, Ill.) notched two goals and two assists and freshman Connor Powell (Merrimack, N.H.) racked up three points (1-2-3). Freshman Parker Butler (Summit, N.J.) made 33 saves to earn his third-straight win.

Tonight's contest marked the second all-time meeting between Nichols College and Elmira College. The Soaring Eagles now lead the series, 2-0-0.
