HARRISVILLE, R.I. – The Nichols College women's ice hockey team fell to No. 7 Norwich University 8-0 in New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) action Saturday afternoon at Levy Rink.

Junior Kim Tiberi (Raleigh, N.C.) led the Cadets with three assists while classmate Erin Joyce (Manchester, N.H.) scored a pair of goals. Norwich outshot the Bison 54-11 for the game – including 21-5 in the final period.

The Cadets saw 13 different student-athletes record points in the game – scoring three goals in the first period, one in the second, and four goals over the final stanza.

Junior
Laura Christie (Hudson, Mass.) paced the Bison with four shots while seven other Bison recorded a shot. Senior Adelle Murphy (Roseau, Minn.) produced a game-high seven shots for the Cadets.

Sophomore
Cassandra Goyette (Norton, Mass.) made 46 saves in the loss while junior Laurie King (Waddington, N.Y.) stopped all 11 shots she faced to earn the win.

The Bison fall to 0-14-0 against the Cadets and this is the 12th time they have been shutout by Norwich.
