Box Score DUDLEY, Mass. – Junior Amy McDonnell (Newbury, Mass.) scored her second goal of the season in Nichols College's 4-1 loss to Western New England University Saturday morning in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action at Vendetti Field.
 
Senior Jacqueline O'Connor (Palmer, Mass.) was credited with a pair of defensive saves for the Bison, who also saw classmate Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) record her team-leading sixth defensive save of the season. Freshman Brooke Misbach (Guilford, Conn.) made four saves.
 
Junior Brittany DeLima (Branchville, N.J.) collected a goal and two assists for the Golden Bears while classmates Michelle Carlson (Hackettstown, N.J.) and Brianna Novaris (Plaistow, N.H.), along with freshman Jacqueline Clark (Auburn, Mass.), also scored for WNE.
 
Clark's fourth of the season at 17:37 gave the Golden Bears a 1-0 lead before DeLima's team-leading eighth 10 minutes later doubled their lead. Novaris knocked in a pass from DeLima 2:23 into the second half to increase the lead to 3-0, and Carlson's marker at 45:09 capped the scoring for the visitors.
 
McDonnell's shot from the left side of the net beat junior goalie Grace Trupe (Cardiff, N.J.) at 68:34. Trupe finished with three saves.

All-Time Series
Tonight's contest marked the 44th all-time meeting between Nichols College and Western New England University. The Bison have lost five-straight to the Golden Bears but still lead the series, 24-17-3.
