The Bison were held to just six shots on goal for the game while the Valiants pounded the net with 41 shots including 15 in the third period.

Quick Hits
- Manhattanville received two goals in each period of the game and had 13 shots in the first and second periods before getting 15 shots in the third period.
- The game remained scoreless un 18:56 of the first period when sophomore Melissa Stys (Pequannock, N.J.) won a faceoff in the Bison's zone that Machin hit a one-timer that trickled its way through sophomore goaltender Lindsay O'Connell (Danvers, Mass.).
- Twenty-seven seconds later, Kent put one into the back of the net after receiving a pass from behind the net by sophomore Maeve O'Brien (Chicago, Ill.).
- The Valiants added their third goal at 8:09 of the second period when Harris gained the blue line, skated between the Bison defense, and fired a wrist shot by O'Connell. Machin added her second goal of the game just 15 seconds later with a helper from Kent.
- The Valiants added two more goals in the third period including a short-handed goal by Harris at 11:09.
- The Bison's only goal of the game came at 11:47 when freshman MacKenzie Lyons (Scottsdale, Ariz.) passed it off to junior Samantha DiReda (Shrewsbury, Mass.) at the point. DiReda's shot attempt missed but senior captain Julia Mastrototaro (Holden, Mass.) picked up the rebound and passed it off to DiReda in front of the net who put it past junior goaltender Olivia Drew (York, Maine).
- Drew earned the win after making five saves while the loss went to O'Connell who made 17 saves and allowed four goals through the first 28:24 of the game before being pulled for freshman Cassandra Goyette (Norton, Mass.). Goyette finished with 18 saves while allowing two goals in the final 31:36.
