Key Stat of the Game
The Bison fired off 41 shots in the game, which is the most for the program since November 25th of last season in a 5-2 win over SUNY Canton. Nichols had 41 shots combined in its first three games of the season.

Quick Hits
- Donati opened up the scoring at 1:14 of the second period after a scoreless first when she took a pass from sophomore Tori Wolter (Chandler, Ariz.) and fired a shot from an impossible angle in the slot on the right side that got over the shoulder of sophomore goaltender Kami Weiner (Elk Grove Village, Ill.) and into the back of the net. The goal was Donati's first-collegiate goal. Sophomore Ariana Dembro (Saugus, Mass.) was credited with the second helper on the play.
- Harle potted her second goal of the season on the power play at 19:21 to even things up at a goal apiece before the second period ended. She then scored her second goal of the game at 1:55 of the third period to give JWU a 2-1 lead – the lead was the first lead in a game for the Wildcats in program-history.
- Junior Emily Wood (Wakefield, Mass.) evened things at 3:43 of the third period with her first-collegiate goal. Sophomore Emily Barden (Chatham, N.Y.) found Wood cutting through the center of the ice and Wood fired a one-timer by Weiner. Freshman Olivia Knight (Walpole, Mass.) was also credited with an assist on the goal.
- Sophomore Laura Christie (Hudson, Mass.) gave the Bison back the lead just 50 seconds later when she potted her first goal of the season. The goal was Christie's first-career game-winning goal. Junior Samantha DiReda (Shrewsbury, Mass.) and Donati had assists on the play.
- Senior captain Erin Dice (Ashburn, Va.) added to the scoring frenzy of the third period as she scored her first goal of the season at 5:04 off of Dembro's second assist of the game.
- The Bison were able to put one more into the net before it was all said in done when junior Kelly Downey (Waltham, Mass.) put home a rebound off of an initial shot from sophomore Melissa LaFleur (Chicopee, Mass.). Freshman MacKenzie Lyons (Scottsdale, Ariz.) received the second helper on the goal.
- Goyette stopped 26 shots to earn her first-career win while Weiner made 36 saves in the loss.
