The Bison fall to 9-15 all-time against the Nor'easters. UNE has won seven-straight over Nichols since it was eliminated from the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) playoffs by the Bison with a home OT loss nearly three years ago.

2 – UNE senior Haley Pelletier (Rome, Maine) – scored a pair of goals, giving her three on the season
3 – Nichols senior Haley Fountain (Warren, Mass.) – recorded four defensive saves
 
Quick Synopsis
Matarozzo picked up four points on a goal and two assists and Pelletier scored a pair to propel the Nor'easters to their 12th win of the season. Junior Desirae LeBlanc (Manchester, N.H.) scored her first goal of the season 19 minutes into the contest – her first of the season – as the Nor'easters moved to 9-1 in the CCC.

Turning Point
Matarozzo's 15th goal of the season and fifth against Nichols in 2015 at 39:05 pushed the UNE lead to 3-0. The shot came from the top of the circle.

-Fountain, along with fellow seniors Meghan Dombkowski (Sagaponack, N.Y.) and Victoria Utter (Stafford Springs, Conn.), were honored prior to the game for their contributions to the program over the last four years.
-Junior Katherine Cotton (Kennebunk, Maine) started in goal for Nichols and recorded 10 saves. She was replaced by classmate Ariana Beauregard (Coventry, R.I.) in the second half and she finished with seven saves. All told, Nichols was credited with 24 saves on the night.
-UNE junior Holly Smith (Peabody, Mass.) made three saves to earn her 12th win of the season.
-Junior Brooke Marion (South Hadley, Mass.) recorded three defensive saves for the Bison.
-UNE held a 9-2 edge in penalty corners – including a 5-0 advantage in the second half.
