Corcoran recorded four of her nine blocked shots in the first half to go along with eight rebounds, leading Curry to a 24-17 edge at intermission. The Colonels biggest lead of the first half (22-13) followed a made layup by sophomore Kerry White (Windham, N.H.) with 2:13 on the clock.

Nichols answered with a 10-2 run, trimming the deficit to seven (42-35) with 7:56 remaining in regulation. The run was started after senior Devon Spirka (Wilmington, Vt.) split a pair from the charity stripe and was capped off with a layup by junior Alexis Wegrzynek (Wilbraham, Mass.). The Colonels maintained a steady lead over the remaining 7:56, en route to the 64-53 final.

In addition to her school-record nine blocks, Corcoran recorded a double-double with game-highs in points (15) and rebounds (11). Beltz and senior Ashley Assarian (Chicopee, Mass.) chipped in with 10 points apiece.
