"I think we made a complete turn-around from the half we played on Thursday night," said Nichols head coach Kristan Mallet. "We were able to have a few practices in between, and they clearly applied some of the things we worked on. I was very happy with that. We gave ourselves some scoring opportunities. We had a few people playing out of position for various reasons today, but overall, we stuck to the game plan. I'm happy with the second half we played against MIT."
MIT outshot Nichols 31-7 and held a 16-5 edge in penalty corners.
The Bison (0-5) return to action on Wednesday when they host Roger Williams at 7 p.m. The Engineers host Lasell Tuesday at 6 p.m.
